How do I rent a Ondego power bank? ›

You must first download the Ondego app available in the App Store or Google Play. You’ll need to create or log into an account, providing a valid mobile number and entering the six-digit one-time-passcode SMS we send to that number. Tap on “Scan to rent” or “Unlock battery” in the app’s home screen, then type in or scan the QR code in front of a station. This will release a power bank for you to use. If you’re seeking a station, explore the map in the app.

How much does it cost? ›

You pay as you go; 10kr / 30 min and max. 50 kr per day.
Upon renting, a timer will show your rental’s pricing information.
If you have any credits, they’ll be applied first.
If you fail to return the battery within 3 days, the battery is yours to keep and a fee of 150 kr will be added.

How do I use it? ›

The Ondego battery is the same as most traditional battery power banks, Ondego batteries come with inbuilt cables. You do not need to have your own cable to use a Ondego portable charger. For USB C and Micro USB, disconnect the cable on the left and plug into your phone. For lightning port disconnect the cable on the right. If you still have any issues please contact in app support.

How do I check the battery level on the power bank? ›

Simply click the battery to see the battery level and you will see the charge level via 3 blue LED lights on the front of battery.

How do I return the power bank? ›

Once you are done using a Ondego battery simple push the power bank into an available slot in a Ondego station. Make sure to push down hard and wait for the confirmation sound and notification through the app.

What happens if I don't return the power bank? ›

You will continue to pay a daily rate for renting a Ondego battery until you reach 3 days. Once 3 days has passed you can keep the battery.

How many times can I charge my phone with one power bank? ›

A Ondego battery holds 5000mAh of charge. Depending on which phone model you have you should be able to get up to 2 full charges.

Can I charge anything else? ›

Yes! The Ondego battery can charge any device which uses the following cable Lightning (iPhone, iPad, iPod), Micro USB (Android Phones, Cameras, GoPro, Wireless Headphones etc) or USB-C (Newer Android devices).

How do I know if the Ondego battery is fully charged before renting? ›

The Ondego station will never release a battery unless it is above 60% charged. If the only available battery is under 60%, you will get prompted with an option to release the battery by choice.
